Shiro Games has announced the release date for SpaceCraft’s Early Access launch, and it is arriving in May 2026.
SpaceCraft is an upcoming title that space explorers will enjoy. Players will have the opportunity to check out different solar systems and planets, from which they can mine and craft resources. The title also includes the designing and building of ships, planetary bases, and much more.
SpaceCraft Early Access Launch Set for May 20
As announced at the latest Triple-i Initiative showcase, SpaceCraft will be available through Early Access from May 20. Interested readers can wishlist the game on Steam now. Along with the latest announcement, the developers also revealed a brand new trailer, which interested readers can check out below.
In SpaceCraft, humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction by the reactivation of the Tripods. However, the people have received one last hope: to jump through a portal and explore and survive in an unseen galaxy. You will have your trusty spaceship as you visit all the new planets, maneuver through the asteroid fields, uncover secrets at abandoned space stations, and more.
The game is based on survival, so players will need to set down food on different planets to look for natural resources that not only help them survive but also serve as valuable materials for their ships and trade. Automation is a big deal in the game, where players can create fully automated resource hubs with production and delivery lines through drones and cargo ships.
The exploration sounds easy, but it isn’t, as players will need to keep an eye out for rogue factions like the Space Pirates. There are three stages of combat: Detection, Pursuit, and Engagement, with each stage testing the players’ tactical skill.
