Today (9), during The Triple-i Initiative 2026, Alkahest—the medieval action RPG from studio Push On—received its first official gameplay trailer.
The new footage places the protagonist in abandoned ruins and cave systems overrun by goblins. As players explore, they must navigate dangerous encounters that highlight one of Alkahest’s defining features: a satisfying melee combat system that seamlessly integrates with highly interactive environments.
You can watch the trailer below:
In Alkahest, players can kick enemies off cliffs, set targets ablaze, and even drop trees on their adversaries. Sticking true to its name, alchemy is a central element, empowering adventurers to brew potions with tactical effects that transform both combat and exploration.
According to Push On, the studio firmly believes in prioritizing quality over quantity. Rather than a massive but empty world, Alkahest promises a semi-open world dense with secrets and reactive systems. The developers have cited critically acclaimed titles like Dishonored and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic as primary inspirations for the project.
Published by HypeTrain Digital, Alkahest is in development for PC and consoles, though no release window has been confirmed.
