Stage Tour winds back the clock to the golden era of plastic controller music games. Like its predecessors, it also boasts a booming soundtrack jam-packed with licensed songs from some of the world’s most revered rock and metal artists, and we’ve got the updated setlist for you.
The whole tracklist for Stage Tour has slowly been dripfed from the second the rhythm game was announced, and it will continue all the way up until the monumental release. It’s been years since the last mainstream music title like this, with Guitar Hero and Rock Band now the equivalent of a classic 80s hit, and Stage Tour representing the new generation.
But RedOctane is striking a new chord in 2026 with Stage Tour, and its release date was announced with a new Stage Tour trailer at Opening Night Live 2026.
How Many Officially Licensed Songs in Stage Tour?
There will be over 90 licensed songs available at launch for Stage Tour, with RedOctane slowly unveiling the full roster of artists and songs.
Stage Tour offers a complete instrument experience, allowing you to sing, smash drums, and strum guitars. As such, the title needs a diverse portfolio of songs, ranging from gentle singalongs to metal bangers that will test your calf integrity and downpicking acumen.

Expect more songs to be added once the game is out, through paid DLC packs and free expansions. The most recent announcement revealed three new songs by Sabaton, Powerman 5000, and Blur, respectively.

From the modern-day dance metal stylings of Babymetal and Electric Callboy to the old-school rock of The Rolling Stones, it looks like Stage Tour is trying to include something for everyone.
My favorite band, and it has been for nearly 20 years, is Slipknot. This makes me a happy person, and one more reason to look forward to Stage Tour.
