A reliable insider has revealed the PlayStation Plus free monthly games for September 2026.
It’s that time of the month when players get the new set of games for PlayStation Plus Essential. PlayStation Plus Essential is the first tier in the subscription service that provides players with a handful of games to add to their library each month, along with discounts and multiplayer. This month, players get 3 new games.
PlayStation Plus September Monthly Games Adds Sniper Elite: Resistance
A new post by the reliable billbil-kun over on Dealabs reveals September’s PlayStation Plus monthly games, and we have three of them to play this month. First up is Sniper Elite: Resistance, which has been out for only about a year and a half before being added to PS Plus. The other two games include Chained Echoes and Wobbly Life. An official announcement from Sony is expected to arrive tomorrow, August 26. The games will be available to download from September 1 to October 6, 2026.

After PlayStation Plus Essential, players can choose PS Plus Extra or Premium. With Extra, in addition to the Essential benefits, players get access to a whole library of PS5 and PS4 games called the Games Catalog. With Premium, there’s a bit more, including the Classics Catalog with PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, cloud gaming, game trials, and more.
