Three classic titles from PlayStation and PlayStation 2 are coming to PlayStation Plus’ Games Catalog later this year.
The PlayStation Plus Classic Games Catalog is filled with many nostalgic titles from consoles past. If you’re a Premium subscriber, you can play all of the titles for free, giving you a vast array to choose from. In the past, games like Resident Evil 2 and Legacy of Kain: Defiance were added. Now, three more titles, including two from legendary fighting franchises, will join the roster.
Tekken 3 and Soulcalibur III Join PS Plus Classic Games Catalog
The video, which premiered during today’s State of Play, confirmed three new titles coming to PS Plus’ Classic Games Catalog soon. Those titles can be found below:
- Tekken 3 (PlayStation)
- Soulcalibur III (PlayStation 2)
- Tomb Raider Anniversary (PlayStation 2)
Both Tekken 3 and Soulcalibur III are well-regarded in their respective franchises. Tekken 2 and Tekken 6 are already in the Games Catalog, so fans can play even more of Bandai Namco’s fighters soon. Also included is Tomb Raider Anniversary, which unfortunately leaked before today’s announcement. Still, we don’t know the exact date of when the three titles will be released, so it may be some time.
All three titles will join The Last of Us Part II Remastered, which goes onto PlayStation Plus on Friday in celebration of The Last of Us Day. Furthermore, starting October 7th, Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3 will be available for subscribers to play. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, it’s a pretty good time to play some new games.
