The game lineup for October for PlayStation Plus has been revealed and features some acclaimed titles.
Every month, PlayStation Plus gets a fresh batch of games for players to get for free. Last month, Essential players got to get Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder. Luckily, this month has some frightful new games, including two that won several Game Awards.
PlayStation Plus Adds Rumored Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3 to Subscription
In the video above, we get a look at the lineup for October for PlayStation Plus. The month will include Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3. The games will be available on the Games Catalog starting October 7th, 2025. Unfortunately, the surprise of GOTY nominee Alan Wake 2 was spoiled earlier today by a prolific leaker. However, Cocoon and Goat Simulator 3 are new. The trailer debuted at today’s State of Play, which also announced The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is heading to the Games Catalog this Friday.
Alan Wake 2 is among the most notable of the bunch. Released in 2023, the Remedy Entertainment sequel was a huge name in the Game of the Year race. At The Game Awards, the game won Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Narrative. In addition, indie darlings Cocoon and Goat Simulator 3 are available. Cocoon, a puzzle adventure game, was also nominated at The Game Awards 2023, winning the Best Debut Indie Title category. Meanwhile, Goat Simulator 3 continued the wacky misadventures of a rogue goat, now with multiplayer.
