Alan Wake 2 Will Be An October PlayStation Plus Game, It’s Claimed

One of 2023’s most favorable games seems set to be coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers next month. According to known data miner billbil-kun, Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 will be one of the three free games for PlayStation Plus members in October.

The game will be available starting October 7 through November 4.

It’s currently unknown if the game’s two expansions—Night Springs and The Lake House—will also be a part of the PlayStation Plus offering.

As far as the other games for the month, Billbil-kun wasn’t able to track down that information. It’s expected that PlayStation will be announcing the full list of games for players either during the State of Play on September 24 or, as the report claims, by October 1.

Currently, subscribers to the service can get Stardew Valley, Psychonauts 2, and Viewfinder for free. Simply add the games to your library and you’ll have access to them as long as you maintain your subscription. In addition to the monthly free games, September 2025 saw a number of games join the Game Catalogue, including WWE 2K25.
