PlayStation State of Play September 2025: Everything Announced

Sony is back with a brand new PlayStation State of Play for September 2025, the first full State of Play event from the company since June.

Wednesday’s show will be the 6th State of Play of the year, but just the third multi-gamew broadcast. The other three that aired focused on one game at a time (Borderlands 4, Ghost of Yotei, 007 First Light).

The latest PlayStation State of Play begins at 5pm ET/2pm PT/10pm BST on Wednesday, September 24, and will run “more than 35 minutes” with both game reveals and news from developers “around the world.” With this being an updating article from the time the show starts, make sure you bookmark and refresh to stay up-to-date on everything that is announced during Wednesday’s event.

As far as what players can expect to see during the show, one game has already been confirmed. Sony says that there will be an extended look at Saros, which was revealed during February’s State of Play. Other games rumored for possible appearances include Bungie’s Marathon, Marvel’s Wolverine, and a final look at Ghost of Yotei ahead of its October 2 release date. One game many fans are hoping to also see is the next God of War title, whether it be the in-development 2.5D game or otherwise.
