Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is finally making its way to PlayStation 5 in December 2025.
The hit simulator was only available on Xbox Series X|S and PC up until now. While reviews for the title were mixed at launch, it has since become a must-play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Even more so, it has kept players engaged with new content and constant updates since its release in 2024. Fortunately for fans on PlayStation, they won’t have to wait long to play it.
Microsoft Flight Simulator Releases on December 8th to PlayStation 5
As announced at today’s State of Play, Microsoft Flight Simulator will release on December 8th, 2025, to PlayStation 5. Furthermore, the game will utilize the Dualshock Sense controller, making playing it much more immersive. Also, a PSVR2 version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available sometime in 2026. The realistic simulator has been highly anticipated by fans, and now, it can be experienced on PlayStation consoles. The description for the title is as follows:
“Pursue your aviation career with dynamically-generated missions, compete against other pilots, and explore the most detailed digital twin of the world to date. Set out on your global adventure with our largest fleet of aircraft as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 takes simulation to new heights of authenticity and realism. The Sky is Calling.”
