Instead, Asha Sharma confirmed that new Call of Duty titles will arrive around a year after their launch, so the following holiday period. As things stand, this will be exclusively for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, and it’s unclear how long after the game’s release they could arrive for lower tiers like Premium or Essential—if at all.

Therefore, if you’re looking to play the latest Call of Duty when it releases, you’ll have to buy the game day and date separately, as it’ll no longer arrive on Xbox Game Pass at the same time.
