Dune: Awakening has become Funcom’s fastest-selling game ever, selling 1 million copies since launch.
Dune: Awakening launched on June 10, 2025, and became an immediate hit among fans. Before release, the game managed to attract scores of players on Steam, eventually hitting a peak concurrency of 189,000 players. The newly released infographic informs us about the sales record and provides additional stats for the game.
Dune: Awakening Has Sold 1 Million Copies Within 2 Weeks

As revealed by Funcom, Dune: Awakening has surpassed 1 million copies in sales. It is an incredible milestone for the publisher, as their previous game, Conan Exiles, took an entire year to reach this point, and Dune: Awakening achieved it in two weeks. Dune Awakening recently released patch 1.1.0.15, which introduced massive changes, including damage reduction, respawn timeout and more. Today, a message from the Creative Director has stated that the Deep Desert is evolving, and PvE players will not have more space to explore and progress without unwanted conflict. Additionally, the Landsraad is getting more variety, better pacing, and stronger rewards.
