Cyberpunk 2077’s highly anticipated update 2.3 has been delayed as the developers need more time to finish the patch.
With Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel entering pre-production, many fans thought they would no longer receive new content for the existing title. However, the developers surprised them by teasing update 2.3, which was scheduled for June 26. Now, this update has been delayed to an undisclosed date.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3’s Scope is Similar to Update 2.2

The official Cyberpunk 2077 account on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed today that update 2.3 has been delayed. The developers initially planned to release it on June 26, but they require more time to ensure they’re “happy with it”. CD Projekt Red also confirmed that the scope is similar to Update 2.2, so players can expect a bunch of new stuff. The devs will reveal more details as soon as they can.
The scope of Cyberpunk 2077’s update 2.2 was massive. The developers released new car customisation features with new colours and designs. A new Twinstone feature was introduced, which allows payers to scan and transfer the colour scheme from any vehicle in the world. The players also received new character customisation options, updates to the photo mode, a hidden Balatro quest, gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and much more.
Update 2.2 was huge, bringing a bunch of new features and improvements for the players. If its scope is similar to Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.3, players are in for a treat. We can only hope that CD Projekt Red informs us about what’s planned for this update in the coming days.
