All eyes in 2026 continue to be firmly set on the long-awaited release of GTA 6, and plenty of attention was paid to the May 2026 Take-Two Earnings call, where there was lots to learn.
GTA 6 is arguably the most anticipated game of all time, with over a decade since the release of the last game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, GTA 5, and eight years since Rockstar Games‘ last major published title, Red Dead Redemption 2.
If you’re looking to see the highlights of what we learned from the Take-Two earnings call, Insider Gaming has the details.
Everything We Learned From Take-Two 2026 Earnings Call

GTA 6 Release Date Unchanged
The news that will undoubtedly have led to huge sighs of relief from the community was confirmation that the release date of GTA 6 has not changed, ruling out another delay.
GTA 6 has been hit with two delays thus far, first pushing the game back to May 26, 2026, and then sliding the game back further on the calendar by adjusting the release date to November 19, 2026.
Speculation of another delay has been persistent ever since, particularly with Rockstar Games not providing any further updates, but the Take-Two earnings call confirmed there has been no change.
Take-Two Forecasts Mammoth $8 Billion Revenue
Unsurprisingly, the earnings call placed a lot of focus on exactly that, and forecasts for the next fiscal year showed mammoth expectations, of course pushed by the launch of GTA 6.
Take-Two forecasts a whopping $8 billion in revenue in the 2026 Fiscal Year, heavily pushed by the long-awaited release date of GTA 6.
Those totals will include all sales figures for GTA 6, alongside any other additional purchases available, like Shark Cards for GTA Online.
No Price Reveal For GTA 6
One thing we didn’t learn from the Take-Two earnings call about GTA 6 was the price of the title, amid continued rumors that the price point could be as much as $100.
No comments were made surrounding the pricing structure, and whether the base version of the game would set new heights for gaming titles, and, instead, those announcements will be left to Rockstar Games themselves.
Pre-order details are expected to go live very soon, along with a long-awaited third trailer, which could finally put the questions around pricing to bed.
