Take-Two Confirms GTA 6 Release Date… Hasn’t Changed

Take-Two has just published another super-sized earnings update, expressing all the data necessary to keep shareholders informed and the wider gaming space abreast of the firm’s operations. As you can imagine, te team no time addressing the obvious about Grand Theft Auto 6, letting us all know what’s happening with the game’s release date.

As it turns out, nothing has changed. Take-Two and Rockstar Games still wholeheartedly intend to release GTA 6, arguably the most highly anticipated game ever made, on November 19, 2026.

GTA 6 Release Date Reaffirmation Received

Take-Two Interactive, has confirmed in an earnings update today that Grand Theft Auto 6, the game of the century (probably), is still being released on November 19, 2026.

This has been the biggest point of contention and discourse amongst fans over the last few months, with many believing that there’s no way GTA 6 will meet the planned release date.

GTA 6 has already been pushed back twice. It was supposed to have been released in the latter months of 2025, then in May 2026, and now, we need to wait until November 2026.

Amongst other things, the earnings call and update also confirmed that Take-Two is swimming in buckets of cash, FY 2026 has been phenomenal, and Strauss Zelnick, CEO, is looking forward to the release of GTA 6 and soaking up more exorbitant volumes of cash money.

He said:

Our Fiscal 2026 performance was exceptional and exceeded our initial expectations at every label. We believe Fiscal 2027 will establish new record levels of operating performance driven by the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, along with strong execution across our portfolio.

We expect to sustain this higher level of scale, generate strong cash flows, and deliver long-term shareholder value as we release our robust development pipeline, continue to optimize our live services and capitalize on new business opportunities.
