PS Plus Monthly Games Headliner for April Revealed

PlayStation Plus users are set to get their hands on a top-tier Soulslike in the April games lineup, it has been revealed. In an exclusive report from Dealabs, the upcoming headliner was unveiled, and it comes at an appropriate time, given that the game’s sequel is set to arrive later this year.

It’s Lords of the Fallen, the 2023 revival of the 2014 game of the same name. The report from Dealabs advises that the game will be available from Tuesday, April 7th, ‘barring any unforeseen circumstances.’

Lords of the Fallen is Coming to PS Plus

In a recent exclusive report from Dealabs, it was confirmed that Lords of the Fallen will be the first PS Plus game offered next month, bolstering the line-up with a decent Soulslike that has been on the market for two and a half years.

The team explained that the official announcement from PlayStation will land on March 31st, just before April kicks in.

In December 2025, CI Games, the developer behind Lords of the Fallen, revealed a surprising update for the game that introduced stacks of changes and new content. It includes more lethal boss battles, AI upgrades, a new ‘Veteran Mode’, a new armor set, and much more.

It was well received by the community, even if it marked the last post for Lords of the Fallen.

Later this year, CI Games will release Lords of the Fallen 2, the anticipated sequel.

Also in December, CI Games’ CEO, Marek Tyminski, went loud on social media, stating that Lords of the Fallen 2 will have ‘attractive female characters in revealing outfits.’ It was a lashing out of sorts at the growth of political agendas in gaming, something that Tyminski has been vehemently and outwardly against in the last couple of years.
