Hidden GTA 6 Trailer Detail Reveals Possible Locations For DLC or Future Content

GTA 6 Trailer 2 dropped out of nowhere. It took the world off guard, and the community has been dissecting it nonstop. A new detail has been discovered, which seems insignificant to the naked eye, but it may have given everyone a glimpse into the future.

Rockstar Games quickly put out the delayed release date fire by shadow-dropping Trailer 2. The second trailer was 18 months in the making and didn’t disappoint. We finally got details on the story, how Jason and Lucia are connected, and much more. But it’s the tiny details in Rockstar trailers we love. One dedicated account suggests we might be leaving Leonida (Florida), and there’s evidence to back it up.

GTA 6 Could be Heading to Different States

We know many of GTA 6’s locations, and the game is set in Leonida, AKA Florida. However, X account TGG shared some interesting images on social media.

In them, we can see several car license plates. We’ve seen Leonida’s Florida-inspired plates, but that’s not all. Gloriana (which resembles Georgia), Arizona, and Liberty City license plates can be seen in the images below.

Now, this could be one of several reasons:

  • These are novelties and Easter Eggs.
  • They feature in flashback scenes in GTA 6 content.
  • We’re being told about future locations coming in GTA 6.

GTA 6 trailer 2 shows license plates from 3 additional different states 👀 (Glorina/Georgia, Arizona, Liberty City) Will be interesting to see if these are just cosmetic or if Rockstar has plans for future content. No Los Santos plates though lol

You can see GTA Gossip‘s reply below the post saying: “As Jason Schreier reported in 2020, Rockstar Games has planned expansions that could include those locations.

Schreier’s exact words were: “One plan that management has laid out for the next game, a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, is to start out with a moderately sized releases (which, by Rockstar’s standards, would still be a large game) that is then expanded with regular updates over time.”

A lot of this is speculative. Take this all GTA 6 trailer talk with a pinch of salt for now. It could be as simple as cars outsourced from different states, it could be Rockstar pulling the wool over our eyes, or DLC plans.

What do you think? Is this too far-fetched? Even though Rockstar loves its Easter Eggs and attention to detail? Let us know via the Insider Gaming forum, and subscribe to our free newsletter below for the latest news.
