Rockstar Games has blown the roof off Grand Theft Auto (GTA 6) with its second trailer, the game’s basic plot details, new characters, and so much more. In addition to all that, the studio has given players a look at many GTA 6 locations you can head to while traveling across the fine state of Flo err Leonida. That includes places like Mia Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Ambrosia, and more.
All Confirmed GTA 6 Locations
Confirmed via the game’s website, GTA 6 will have at least six main locations to explore in various ways. From the main cities to venturing out into the wilderness, there appears to be no shortage of options for you as you make your way through the state.

Vice City
Based of Miami, Florida, Vice City is the main city in GTA 6 and the “sun and fun capital of America”.
Per the city’s description, “each neighborhood has something to offer, from the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach, to the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC Port, the cruise ship capital of the world.”
Leonida Keys
The Leonida Keys is a tropical archipelago that is full of bars with a relaxing environment. That said, it’s not always the safest place to be, depending on your situatioin.
“Get your buzz on and pull up a deck chair but look out — you are right on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful and dangerous waters in all of America.”
Grassrivers
The Grassrivers region of Leonida is known as the “untamable jewel”.
“The gators may be the most famous attraction, but there are far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries among the mangroves,” the description reads.
Port Gellhorn
Port Gellhorn is a “once-was” type of area. Despite the cheap motels, empty strip malls and shuttered attractions keep tourists away. That said, there is some activity going on in the area, it’s just not what many may consider to be the best of activities.
“It’s fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks,” the description reads. “Jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet.”
Ambrosia
A blue-collar town in the middle of the state, Ambrosia is home to the Allied Crystal sugar refinery where most of the jobs are held. There’s also a biker gang that seemingly runs the place.
Mount Kalaga National Park
Located along the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga National Park features areas to hunt and fish. There are also off-road trails to explore, but keep an eye out for “hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals” who like to live outside of the control of the government.
Is GTA 6’s Vice City The Same as The OG?
When looking at Vice City, many are wondering just how big the new version is compared to the original from the game that bears the same name. Rockstar nor the trailers have yet to reveal if GTA 6’s Vice City is the authentic Vice City we all love and have played.
That said, it’s already known that GTA 6’s map, in general, will be the largest in franchise history. So, even without having the actual new map for GTA 6 or specific details on Vice City itself, it could be assumed that the size of modern-day city will be larger than the original.
When Is GTA 6 Releasing?
As of publishing, GTA 6 is scheduled to release on May 26, 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch. However, it’s expected that a PC release for the game will come a little while after that if that’s something you think is worth waiting on.
