Halo Campaign Evolved is “Pretty Much Content Complete”, It’s Claimed

An insider has claimed that Halo Campaign Evolved is content-complete and has also shed light on the skin system and other details.

Just a week ago, we saw a leak reveal details on the content included in Halo Campaign Evolved’s prequel missions, with mentions of Spartans and ODST’s old rivalry, Brutes, and more being thrown out there. Now, the same insider has claimed more details about the upcoming title in a new exclusive report. Readers should take this information with a huge grain of salt, as it doesn’t come from an official source.

Halo Campaign Evolved Seemingly Features a Customizable Skin System

The latest YouTube video by RebsGaming provides players with new information regarding Halo Campaign Evolved. He first informed players of a message from his source about the prequel missions, which stated that “the intention was not to spoil” and that there is still a lot of information players don’t know.

RebsGaming proceeds to talk about the skin system, explaining that through the recently announced Fanta collaboration, he reveals that the new Fantastic Spartan Armor for Master Chief “indirectly confirms that Halo Campaign Evolved includes a custom armor system.” However, there are no microtransactions involved with any of the armors, as Halo Studio has confirmed that there is no shop in the game.

The insider’s exclusive information on the subject is that Halo Campaign Evolved has a “skin system” for Master Chief, which will allow players to “change his appearance”. Rebs added that the “custom armors are based on the Mark V, but they have been reshaped and redesigned to look different. Other suits give Chief’s armor a whole new twist, but some could be modified or cut before release”. Players should expect weapon customization, too.”

Halo Campaign Evolved is Reportedly “Playable From Start to Finish”

The insider then spoke about the upcoming title, still reusing Halo Infinite’s assets, but noting some “subtle design changes from what was shown during the reveal”. Moving on to the development build being tested for Halo Campaign Evolved, the insider has been told it is “pretty much content complete and playable from start to finish, including the prequel missions”. Which could mean the game’s release is coming soon.

In other news, the art director of Halo Infinite and a veteran developer on the franchise is accusing senior staff at Halo Studios of numerous unlawful acts. Additionally, Halo Studios reportedly plans to remake the original trilogy.
