Earlier this week, eagle-eyed PlayStation gamers spotted 28 Floors: Outbreak, a new horror game that requires players to ascend 28 levels through an infected building to the rooftop escape point. What drew their attention was the main character, an unnamed individual who was, for some unknown reason, using Nathan Drake’s face from the Uncharted series.
Following online chatter on social platforms, the developer appears to have caught on and altered the character’s face, removing all traces of Nathan Drake.
28 Floors: Outbreak No Longer Features Nathan Drake
Days ago, users on Reddit and social media sites started sharing images of what closely resembled Nathan Drake in an all-new game. The game, dubbed ’28 Floors: Outbreak’, is set to be released in 2027 by Witenovastudio. It’s a first-person horror title with survival elements, and the funny thing is, the screenshots for the title look pretty good.
What caught everyone’s eye wasn’t the promising screenshots, but the fact that the main character was a copy-paste rip of Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, which is a bold thing to do on a PlayStation platform.
Users across social media shared the image below, which clearly contains Nathan Drake:
If you head to the PlayStation Store and look up 28 Floors: Outbreak right now, you’ll see that the image has been altered, and Nathan Drake’s face is no longer front and centre:

This isn’t the first time Witenovastudio has popped up on the PlayStation Store, of course. The publisher is often associated with ripoff titles, shovelware games, and heavy generative AI content. It has had titles stripped from the store by Sony in the past, and it’s a safe bet that 28 Floors: Outbreak will not resemble the content shown on the store when (if) it ever launches.
