Embark Studio has announced that it will be removing Raider Decks from the Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders and moving to Reward Passes.
The new Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders is set to arrive on October 8, 2026, and it will introduce a bunch of new content to the game. Players have already been informed about the paid battle pass and everything included in the update. Today, we are going over the new progression mechanic the game will introduce.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Replaces Raider Decks with Reward Passes
A recent blog post by Embark Studios explains why the ARC Raiders Frozen Trail update replaces Raider Decks with Reward Passes. The developers noted that while Raider Decks were effective at first, they began to run into issues over time. Players were accumulating Cred at a rate that the developers couldn’t manage, and many could complete new Raider Decks immediately upon their release using saved-up Cred. This situation made it not worthwhile to strive for rewards.
Hence, ARC Raiders is now getting Reward Passes, which have been described as the ‘natural evolution’ of Raider Decks, bringing some added benefits too. Players will be able to accomplish ‘Feats’, which help unlock rewards such as cosmetic items, gadgets, weapons, items, and Raider Tokens.

ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Reward Pass Features 60 Levels
The upcoming Frozen Trail update features two Reward Passes: Frozen Trail Reward Pass and a Legacy Reward Pass. The Frozen Trail Pass has free and premium options, with 60 levels players can progress through. The free track will include all the new base outfits, plus new cosmetic items, weapons, gadgets, items, and a total of up to 200 Raider Tokens.
The premium track features all the premium toggles, modifications, and colorways for all new outfits. Players also get legendary weapon stencils, hairstyles, and a total of up to 1,150 Raider Tokens. The developers clarified that none of these rewards affect gameplay, and players can buy the premium pass for 1,150 Raider Tokens, so completing it means no additional purchase is required for upcoming Premium passes.
The Legacy Pass will finally bring all of the cosmetic rewards and Raider Tokens in Raider Decks into a single Free Pass.
