If you’ve been running out of places to wait for an unnecessary amount of time, McDonald’s wants you to know it’s joining that list. According to a new report, Pokémon Happy Meals are on their way back to McDonald’s in just over a month, and it’s sure to be a popular item among fans as the franchise continues its 30th anniversary celebration.
PokeBeach reports that the Pokémon Happy Meals will return starting on November 5 and run through December 9 in the United States (US). They mention other countries will get the special meals, but the dates could be different than what’ll be available in the US.
Pokémon Cards are Coming to McDonald’s
With each Happy Meal, you’ll receive a single four-card booster pack. Each pack will include one holographic card and three non-holographic cards, and there will be a total of 15 different cards available. There will be six holographic cards, all printed on confetti holofoil.
In addition to the pack of cards, PokeBeach claims that customers will also have the choice between a Pokémon Toy—assumed to be a card display of some sort—or a “Pokémon Essential Handbook”
As of writing, nothing has been confirmed by McDonald’s, and things could change regarding the dates and the specific offerings. With plans for the meals set to start in just over a month, however, an official announcement should come sooner rather than later.
