Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the upcoming remake, has surpassed one million wishlists across all platforms.
It was only a week ago that the game was officially unveiled to the public during the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Showcase, meaning it’s garnered over a million wishlists in seven days. Based on the hype surrounding the reveal, as high as the number might be, it’s not entirely surprising.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Due July 9, 2026
Insider Gaming’s own Tom Henderson broke the news that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced would be releasing on July 9, 2026, with the date being reaffirmed during the April showcase.
It’s not just going to be a simple remaster of the fan-favourite title, either, as there are plenty of changes coming alongside the remake. Perhaps most notably, the combat has been reworked to depict an action-oriented experience, whilst the frustrating tailing missions have been greatly improved.
And don’t worry, if you weren’t a fan of the more modern, RPG Assassin’s Creed titles, you’ll be glad to hear that the Black Flag remake won’t be following in their footsteps. Ubisoft were clear during the reveal that it will not be an RPG, as the game maintains its original character-driven experience.
If you were one of the million people who decided to wishlist the game, there’s a chance you opted for the Collector’s Edition, which includes an impressive Edward Kenway statue, along with a host of other goodies.
With only a few months left to go, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will soon be playable, and it’s obvious there’s a serious amount of hype surrounding the title.
