Every Rumored Game For Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026
Despite so many titles already confirming their place, there are still plenty of games rumored for Gamescom Opening Night Live. With a runtime of around two hours, there’s bound to be plenty of reveals and surprises in store, but here’s what we think has a strong chance of appearing based on rumors and speculation, as well as which games will be on the show floor.
Alien Isolation 2

Alien Isolation 2 was officially revealed during Summer Game Fest, and it’s been announced that the game’s prologue will be playable on the show floor. With such a presence at the event confirmed, why not another trailer, too?
Fable

Fable was unfortunately delayed to 2027, but it might be for the best given how packed the end of 2026 is looking. That said, maybe ONL will be a great opportunity to see more of the game and keep hype levels as high as ever.
Rumored XBOX Franchise Revival

It’s been leaked that XBOX has a surprise announcement lined up for ONL, and it’s supposed to be a shock sequel to an existing IP, though it’s not being developed by a Microsoft-owned studio. It’s got fans speculating what it could be, though Banjo-Kazooie is reportedly not the IP in question.
Worms Galactic Tactics

There’s been rumbling of a new Worms game for a while now, but just recently, the game’s full title and artwork were leaked. Seemingly an XCOM-esque strategy game, it’d be interesting to see if the official reveal happens during ONL.
Hogwarts Legacy 2

After the success of the original, it’s long been known that a sequel is in the works, with it being a priority for Warner Bros. Games. It wouldn’t be too big of a surprise if it were to appear during Opening Night Live, though official confirmation would surely be welcome.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is another title penned in for February next year, and with Catalyst delayed to 2028, ONL could be a good time to give us a glimpse of what more to expect from the highly anticipated remake.

It’s impossible to predict them all, especially if it’s the first time we’ve heard of a game!
