007 First Light has received a brand new trailer showcasing fresh gameplay and the ‘Rules of Spycraft’.
IO Interactive’s Bond-themed adventure is all set to arrive next month, and the developer has already provided a whole bunch of details ahead of the release. Just last week, we received the 007 First Light title sequence, featuring a cinematic Bond-style intro and the theme song by Lana Del Rey. Now, a new trailer has arrived showcasing more gameplay.

Blending In
The new trailer highlights the various gameplay features players will explore as a spy in the world of 007 First Light. The first aspect highlighted was blending in, where players will have to explore different areas to infiltrate, bluff their way past security guards, and eavesdrop on conversations for more intel. The trailer also highlights various stealth features, such as sneaking around and takedowns, as well as the parkour paths players can take to infiltrate.
Gadgets
However, bluffing might help you in every situation, which brings players to the second rule of Spycraft, which is to always be prepared for the worst. 007 First Light players will have time between missions to talk to allies, gather intel, and prepare for the next mission. The gadgets lab was also highlighted, showcasing various tools players can use, including the Q-Lens, the Q-Watch, the Dart Phone, the Smoke Pod, earbuds, and more.
Improvise
The next highlighted section was improvisation, where players can use elements of the environment to their advantage. This includes tossing items at enemies, lunging over obstacles, and pushing enemies into environmental elements. Players also have the license to kill, so use your guns when you end up in sticky situations.
Tac Sim
The new 007 First Light trailer also highlighted various types of enemies players will face. Some might have additional armor that will need to be handled with your gadgets. The Focus ability was also showcased, allowing Bond to slow time for a few seconds to take precision shots. There’s also a Tac Sim that players can use to test their abilities against others while earning experience for upgrades. Tac Sim will also receive new content over time.
