A roadmap has been revealed for Kiln ahead of its release tomorrow, April 23, 2026. It showcases a variety of content that fans can expect across the first few weeks after launch, as well as some general plans throughout the rest of 2026.
The upcoming online party brawler has players sculpting ceramic pots, which they can then possess and use as a means to douse the enemies’ Kiln. It looks like there’s a lot of customisation on offer, and the roadmap details that more variety will be on the way.
Kiln Roadmap Reveals Year-Long Plans

Kiln will launch with five maps and its core game mode, Quench, but the devs at Double Fine Productions have a steady stream of content planned for the title. It’s been revealed that every week for the first month after Kiln launches, there will be new updates for fans to unpack.
Week one kicks things off with a Dinosaur Decoration Pack, adding a selection of new cosmetics to deck out your pottery with. The following week will add another map to the roster, before it’s back to more cosmetics with weeks three and four.
Looking beyond the first month, the first Feature Update will be Mission Criti-Bowl, which will include two new maps, as well as a host of Progression System additions like Missions and a Pot Journal.
It begins to get a bit vague heading into Fall and Winter, with the key update being new ways to play. That’s likely more game modes, or perhaps an expansion onto other platforms—only time will tell.
Until then, the level cap has risen to 50 for the game’s full release, giving fans tons of content to unlock and grind towards in the opening weeks. Remember, the game releases tomorrow, April 23, so you’ll be able to get stuck in very soon.
