Minecraft Dungeons 2 is slated for release in 2026.
The forthcoming game will be a follow-up to the May 2020 release. It’s slated for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch family of consoles, the Xbox Series family of consoles, and Xbox Cloud Play.
A teaser trailer was revealed on March 21 during the Minecraft LIVE stream. The game is available to be wishlisted right now. There’s also an active Steam page with a game synopsis:

Minecraft Dungeons Success
The original Minecraft Dungeons game was launched at the height of the global pandemic in May 2020. It has an average Metacritic score of 70 and a user score of 6.7. The game scored its highest on Metacritic on the PlayStation 4, with an overall score of 78.
Sulfur Cubes Added to Minecraft
Minecraft gameplay footage of the brand-new Sulfur Caves was shown. The development team also discusses what sets this area apart from others in the franchise. The game also features the new Sulfur Cube material, which can absorb other blocks, and features other ball-like physics that will add to this game’s longevity. For instance, Chaos Cubed is the new game coming to Minecraft
“This mob allows for even more creativity in your builds and refined chaos in your mini-games. We showcase a few ideas in this segment, but like everything we bring to the game, we’re mostly excited to see what you get up to when Chaos Cubed enters testing,” the team wrote.
