Nioh 3 Has Sold One Million Units Globally

Nioh 3, the Koei Tecmo RPG that released this month, has already sold one million units globally.

Right before Nioh 3 was released, we were informed that the game had a timed console exclusivity deal with PlayStation. Which means the console is yet to release on the Xbox Series X/S and potentially the Switch 2 as well, which could increase the title’s sales even further. The Nioh franchise has crossed a new milestone, too.

Nioh 3 Crosses One Million, Franchise Crosses 10 Million Units

Koei Tecmo announced in a new Steam post that Nioh 3 has sold 1 million units globally and is the fastest-selling title in the series. Nioh 3 was released on February 14, 2026. What’s more, the new milestone has helped the whole Nioh franchise cross 10 million units sold globally. To celebrate the occasion, the developers have released an accolades trailer, which interested readers can check out below:

Nioh 3, as the name implies, is the third entry in the action RPG and soulslike series. In the latest title, players need to blend both Samurai and Ninja combat styles as they battle against formidable Yokai. The new game also features an open field where you can explore to your heart’s content while encountering enemies, menacing cillages, and the struggle against the presence of the Crucible.
