Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Puts Ads In Loadout Screen

Since the arrival of Season 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players have spotted ads on the loadout screen and other menus.

Black Ops 6 Loadout Screen Features Bundle Ads Now

Spotted by IGN, the r/blackops6 subreddit is now filled with complaints from players about the new skins and bundle ads in the loadout screens. Players are disappointed that they need to see ads for in-game bundles even though they paid a premium for the title. These ads would be somewhat understood if they were in Warzone, but not on Black Ops 6, a ‘pay-to-play’ title.

These posts show that Black Ops 6 has added adverts for skin bundles across different game menus. A player spotted a ‘Reactive: Peek Performance’ bundle on the loadout screen, and another was shown the ‘Reactive: Bank Roll’ bundle in the weapon selection screen. One player also encountered adverts on the events menu

So now, every time a player tries to swap between weapon builds in Black Ops 6, they will have to see these bundle ads, even though there was already an option to visit the shop from this menu. Some players have described Black Ops 6 as “opening up a mobile game” after the arrival of these ads in season 4. Others are worried where else they might end up seeing these ads next.

In other news, Actvision hides player levels in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer lobbies. Also, the game has added a literal potato as a battle pass reward. What are your thoughts on the new ads in Black Ops 6? Let us know below and join the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.

  • Call of duty is just getting stupid they are adding all these stupid little ads and silly cosmetic skins but it seems to be that they won’t do anything about the cheating
