UFC 6 Release Date & All Platforms, Explained

Out of the blue, UFC 6 appeared, and it’s finally time for us all to share the octagon again. The real-life MMA sport continues to be one of the world’s most gripping, box-office combat spectacles, and EA is gearing up for the sixth mainline game.

With Alex Pereira and Max Holloway gracing the main UFC 6 covers, you’ll have a headache (thankfully, not through fighting) about which edition to pick up and who you want on the cover, but you need to know when it’s time for your ringwalk, and where you can actually fight!

When Does UFC 6 Come Out? UFC 6 Release Date, Explained

EA has given UFC 6 a June 19, 2026, release date.

UFC 6 hasn’t been in official existence for that long, but EA isn’t making us wait an eternity for the game. In fact, it’s a two-month window between the game’s unveiling and the launch date.

Pre-orders are open for UFC 6, and as with many EA sports titles, you can get early access and choose different editions, depending on how much content you want from the game.

Can You Play UFC 6 on PlayStation? PS5 Status, Explained

UFC 6 will be a day-one release on the PlayStation 5, but there won’t be a past-gen PS4 release.

One of UFC 6’s main platforms at launch is the PS5—which is the case for almost every non-Nintendo Switch game in 2026! Another thing we’ve come to expect in the modern day is new games lacking a last-gen port. UFC 5 also missed out on the PS4, and 2020’s UFC 4 will likely be the last UFC game to get this treatment.

Can You Play UFC 6 on Xbox? Xbox Series X|S Status, Explained

You will also be able to purchase and play UFC 6 on Xbox Series X|S devices.

Once again, Xbox gets a current-gen port, but there’s no last-gen edition. If you’ve got an Xbox One and haven’t upgraded to either of Microsoft’s newer hardware, then you’ll have to settle for UFC 4 for now.

Can You Play UFC 6 on PC?

A PC version is reportedly happening for UFC 6, but right now, no port has been announced, meaning technically, UFC 6 won’t be available to play on PC at launch.

According to our own Mike Straw, in the ‘EA Sports UFC 6 officially releases June 19, getting new game mode‘ story: ‘A PC version of the game is in development.’

However, that’s the extent of our knowledge so far. It’s likely a PC port will happen, but there’s no timeframe for now.

Can You Play UFC 6 on Nintendo Switch? Switch 2 Status, Explained

Nintendo owners have to miss out on UFC 6 altogether, with no Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 port planned.

If you are a Nintendo Switch owner desperate to enter the ring, you might want to throw down with EA to get your point across, as UFC 6 has no Switch plans.

It’s been three years since UFC 5, so what are you hoping that UFC 6 does differently this time around? Let us know through the Insider Gaming Discord.
