Electronic Arts (EA) has officially announced EA Sports UFC 6 and, in doing so, confirmed the game’s release date and cover stars.
First reported over the weekend, EA confirmed that the game will launch on June 19. There will be an Ultimate Edition of the game that gives players early access, starting on June 12 as well.
As far as the cover athletes, it has been confirmed that Alex Pereira will be on the cover of the Standard Edition, while Max Holloway is on the cover of the Ultimate Edition. That announcement confirms what I reported earlier about the two stars being on the cover of different editions of the game.
For those wondering about platforms, EA Sports UFC 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version of the game is in development, but there’s been no confirmation on when, or if, that will be released.
For those wanting it on console, the Ultimate Edition includes the Fighter Pass, which includes eight new fighters to the roster, including two on launch day. There’s also going to be two “fully-loaded expansions” that include a new mode coming in Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
A full feature reveal for EA Sports UFC 6 is coming soon, likely by mid-May.
