Nintendo’s latest financial results reveal sell-through unit sales for Pokémon Fire Red, Leaf Green, Pokopia, and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
Players have been informed of several new developments regarding the Switch 2 in the latest financial results, with Nintendo announcing a price increase across all regions. Additionally, the console is now close to 20 million units sold. Now, we are getting into the software sales for Nintendo.
Pokémon Pokopia and Fire Red & Leaf Green Sales Surpass 4 Million Units
The latest financial results from Nintendo provide insights into the sell-through data for both Switch and Switch 2 games. “Mario Kart World” has sold 14.70 million units, while “Donkey Kong Bananza” has reached 4.52 million units. The Switch version of “Pokémon Legends Z-A” has sold 8.85 million units, compared to 3.94 million units for the Switch 2 version. Overall, lifetime software sales for the Switch 1 stand at 48.71 million units, and the original Switch has sold 136.91 million units of software.
Coming to the unit sales of Pokémon titles like Pokopia, FireRed, and LeafGreen: Pokopia released on March 5, 2026, for the Switch 2 and crossed 4 million units sold in the first 5 weeks through global cumulative sell-through. FireRed & LeafGreen were released for the Switch on February 27, 2026, and have also surpassed 4 million units in global cumulative sales in the first 6 weeks. Lastly, the global cumulative sell-through of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream exceeded 3.8 million 2 weeks after release.
