Peak developers, Aggro Crab, have announced a brand-new co-op title, featuring arcade-style driving: Crashout Crew.
Aggro Crab’s Peak has taken the world by storm since its series, breaking records by the dozen. Last month, we learned that the game was closing in on 10 million lifetime sales, with 2 million of them coming from a Steam sale. Now, we have been informed about the developers’ next big co-op instalment, Crashout Crew.
Crashout Crew’s Demo Arrives on October 13
Peak developers’ new title, Crashout Crew, has players joining DE NILE SHIPPING, which is described as the “world’s most efficient warhouse!” Players will work in groups of up to 4 as they maneuver forklifts across this massive warehouse. The area has been built as a full-blown raceway, where your forklifts have been outfitted with boosts and drifting capabilities.
The game will have players completing a variety of contracts where they ship unique sets of boxes. You have to manage your stress levels as it can result in a crashout. Warehouse and Forklifts can be upgraded for ease of use, but all upgrades are reset after a contract is completed. Lastly, there are additional Safety Violations that can add more chaos to the gameplay.
Players can check out Crashout Crew’s demo through Steam Next Fest on October 13, where players can check out the first three levels, which are considered ‘Contracts’ in the game. There will also be Safety Violations to modify the warehouse. As for the release date, they don’t have one yet; however, the game is expected to arrive in 2026. Moreover, Peak and Crashout Crew were developed simultaneously during a game jam at Aggro Grab, and don’t worry, work on Peak will not stop anytime soon.
In other news, Peak’s latest update addressed several bugs and glitches and added a color blindness mode. Additionally, here’s more about the game’s first new biome.
