Fans of the Gears of War franchise are being treated well this year as, following the release of Gears of War: Reloaded earlier this year, Gears of War: E-Day is now on the horizon, and there’s plenty to sink your teeth into, as shown by the list of Achievements.
The prequel title in the franchise, developed by The Coalition, arrives exclusively as an XBOX Series X|S and PC title, with PlayStation 5 missing out despite the series making a platform debut with Gears of War: Reloaded earlier this year.

Gears of War: E-Day’s list of Achievements will have players completing tasks across all major modes, including finding collectibles and ticking off particularly specific actions.
A plethora of Achievements are available exclusively in Campaign, Versus, and Horde Siege, the games’ three big modes, many of which will require plenty of hours.

How Many Achievements in Gears of War: E-Day?
Gears of War: E-Day has a total of 53 Achievements to earn, totalling 1,000 Gamerscore, though one of those Achievements doesn’t actually award any additional points.
Instead, it acts as a badge of honor for players who have earned all other Achievements in the game, and stands as a subtle reminder to XBOX’s previous plan to release the title on PlayStation 5, where it would have awarded a Platinum Trophy.
Those chasing maximum Gamerscore from the title can expect to sink hundreds of hours into Gears of War: E-Day, with a wide array of Achievements taking a hefty chunk of time, including the Dead Serious Achievement.
That requires 100% campaign completion on maximum difficulty, a whopping 25,000 kills in Versus, reaching maximum Player Level, and maxing out four classes.
