New Worms Game Has Possibly Leaked In A Bizarre Way

Leaks come in all shapes and sizes in 2026s, and they can apparently come from anywhere! A new leak has appeared from thin air, suggesting that Worms is back with a new game.

The Worms glory days were absolutely beautiful and utterly nonsensical. Flying sheep, concrete donkeys; it was a work of art. Eventually, after leaning into sports games and 3D spin-offs, the idea well ran dry, and there have been few new entries in the last 10 years. But a new one could be cooking.

Project Arrakis Is A New Worms Game?

The xj0nathan and Assassins Creed Invictus leak story has been wild. But what’s wilder is that in the middle of xj0nathan talking about the fallout of the Invictus leak and AI suggestions, one X account suddenly popped up.

Evil Leeker Man said:

‘Not AC but I wanna join in with the leaks so go nuts.’

Now, the account hasn’t been very active since it joined X in October 2025. However, the account is suddenly posting leaks.

Evil Leeker Man showed off Bloodwest Scavengers, along with a supposed new Worms game, labeled as ‘Project Arrakis.’ Given how new and out of the blue this all is, we do need to take this with a proverbial pinch of salt, of course.

But the account posted images of the new Worms game, along with evidence of playtime on Steam, clearly showing that this is a Team 17 playtest.

This suggests they could be a playtester themselves, or someone else has sent them leaked screenshots and videos. That remains to be seen.

They claim that the new Worms title is a ‘tactics style’ game, and say they’ll be sharing actual gameplay footage of the Worms playtest. So stay tuned for further updates on this fascinating leak.

What do you think? Does the leak look genuine? Does it have you yelling Holy Hand Grenade, Batman? Let us know your thoughts on the leak and image through our Insider Gaming Discord.
