A new rating for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been spotted, hinting at an imminent Switch 2 release.
Nintendo has made it clear with the latest Switch 2 console that third-party games are now a thing. We have already seen titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Requiem, and many more released on the platform. Now, it seems like Nintendo is moving towards bringing Marvel into the fray as well.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Rated for Switch 2 in Taiwan
Spotted by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has rated Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy for the Switch 2. The platform clearly mentions Switch 2, the rating is PG-12, and the company is listed as Koch Media GmbH. However, the launch date section says “not approved”, so we don’t know when it could be released for the platform.
For those unaware, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a story-focused, single-player third-person action-adventure developed by Eidos-Montréal. The title has you playing as the titular Star-Lord in an original story where the characters are caught up in another struggle over the fate of the universe.
You play as Star-Lord, but you can call any of the Guardians to your aid and have them use their signature attacks on the enemies. Having played the game myself, I can say this game has some of the best writing and adrenaline-fueled action sequences that a Marvel fan will thoroughly enjoy.
In other news, here’s more about the new Marvel Rivals update, which adds the Lower Manhattan map. Additionally, new leaks indicate that another iconic Marvel character is set to appear in Fortnite.
