Another Iconic Marvel Villain is Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite has a long history of collabs with Marvel, including several themed seasons and major live events, and another iconic villain is set to appear in a crossover.

The latest Fortnite OG Season brings the focus back to Marvel, with the return of the Avengers LTM on April 3, and it seems there are no signs of stopping the huge collabs.

Ultron is Coming to Fortnite

According to SamLeakss (via ShiinaBR), Ultron is lined-up as the next major villain set to appear in Fortnite, although the full details have not been disclosed.

Fortnite regularly brings new skins into the game, with the most recent slew of Marvel characters including new looks for Captain America and Iron Man, along with appearances from Luna Snow and Magik from Marvel Rivals.

While Ultron could, in theory, come as a random drop in the shop, he is one of the biggest Marvel villains, and a larger collab would make sense.

Fortnite has had Marvel-themed seasons in the past, with Chapter 2, Season 4 focused on Galactus’ arrival, and Chapter 5, Season 4 putting Doctor Doom as the big bad, and it may be time for another major collab.

It’s a big year for Marvel with the release of Avengers: Doomsday, and Disney will understandably want to promote that huge release. However, as Doom has already featured recently, Ultron could be a good bet.

Ultron was the main villain in the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, but the one-and-done approach that usually occurs in films does not give the character the justice he deserves, and making him the big bad of an upcoming Fortnite season would see a step forward in giving Ultron more respect.
