More details have been revealed for the Kingdom Hearts Deep Dive taking place at Disney’s D23 event, as gamers hope for more news on the next title in the series.
Kingdom Hearts 4 was officially announced in April 2022, followed by a teaser trailer earlier this year, and fans are anticipating more news from the franchise in Disney’s landmark D23 event.
Kingdom Hearts D23 Deep Dive Details
A post on social media revealed the livestream will take place on August 15 at 4:30 PM PT, which will also be broadcast by The Game Awards, and will include a “behind-the-scenes look at the making of the games.”
The Deep Dive panel will include Nana Gadd from Disney & Pixar Games, Square Enix’s Tai Yasue, along with Haley Joel Osment, the voice of Sora, David Gallagher, the voice of Riku, and Renee Johnson, who provides Disney character voices.
The inclusion of those five big names in the panel has got fans excited for more news about Kingdom Hearts 4, which is yet to have an official release date revealed, but other big news could also emerge.
Kingdom Hearts is widely expected to star in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, which kicks off next week, with leaks already showcasing some assets, which are expected to come in a mid-season update.
There is also a Kingdom Hearts Collection, containing all three mainline games so far, coming to PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC in October this year, so more details could emerge on that.
