An upcoming Fortnite collab with Kingdom Hearts has been leaked by Rocket League ahead of an official reveal, adding to the slew of leaks connected to the next Fortnite season.
Fortnite will transition to Chapter 7 Season 4 later this month, officially called ‘Override’, with the main focus of the season being huge collabs with a variety of legends from the world of gaming.
The likes of Pac-Man, Sonic, and Persona have already been leaked, and while it was previously heavily rumored, a solid leak for Kingdom Hearts’ inclusion has come from a surprising source.
Kingdom Hearts Coming to Fortnite
According to SamLeakss via ShiinaBR, Kingdom Hearts files have been uncovered in Rocket League, another Epic Games title, including a design for a car, which will transfer into Fortnite.
Epic Games’ duo of titles have a close relationship, with a Fortnite Crew subscription also including the Rocket League Pass, and a wide array of assets from Rocket League can be used in Fortnite.
Interestingly, however, it appears that Kingdom Hearts may not directly tie into the upcoming Fortnite season, and instead looks to feature as a Shop collab.
SamLeakss states that the Kingdom Hearts collab is “coming early” in Season 4, and the absence at launch indicates the collab won’t be featured in the Battle Pass.
It could still result in some in-game aspects, however, with the potential for NPCs, POIs, and other formats on the cards, particularly if it’s utilized as part of a major in-season update.
More details should be right around the corner, as Fortnite ticks into the final weeks of the current season before the transition.
