With Invincible VS set to launch on April 30, the development team has shared details about the day-one patch and what players can expect. The upcoming fighting game is set to put its own violent and gory spin on the traditional 3-on-3 tag fighter. It will, of course, come with a loaded day-one patch, like most video games in 2026.
The day one patch for Invincible VS takes several notes from the open beta held in mid-April, and several courses have now been adjusted. There are also major adjustments to the fighters’ movesets, as well as general bug fixes.
Key Takeaways From Invincible VS Day One Patch
The patch notes state that an overall pass has been done to damage scaling to reduce the number of “Touch of Death routes utilizing easy-to-perform/repeatable combos. Also, a pass has been performed on every Fighter’s Special, Boosted Special, and Super moves that are intended to make them unsafe to block and open to punish.
As for fighter changes, the main focus was ensuring there were more of the aforementioned punish windows on special and super moves. Additionally, every fighter on the roster has received tuning, such as Omni-Man’s Rising Uppercut now being punishable on block.
Other General Bug Fixes from Invincible VS Patch
The patch also includes generic bug fixes, such as resolving more than 80% of the crashes observed in the open beta. Also, the ghost player issue in online matchmaking has been fixed.
The development team is still working on known issues, such as adding a cooldown penalty for players who leave Ranked Matches early, with this update aimed for release during the first major patch after launch. Check out the full patch notes here.
