It’s finally time for a new Spider-Man film to hit the big screen, as Brand New Day is beginning to arrive in cinemas across the world. To celebrate the occasion, Insomniac Games has added the instantly iconic suit to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, free of charge.
However, the new content doesn’t stop there, as Insomniac also revealed that arriving alongside the Brand New Day suit is the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls suit, and you won’t have to pay a penny for either of them.
Two New Suits Arrive In Spider-Man 2
It had been known for some time now that Insomniac was adding the Brand New Day suit to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, with the original news dropping last month. However, the Tokon suit was a complete surprise, though it’s a welcome addition all the same.
Insomniac teased the reveal on its X account, where they mysteriously began to count down from two—not a very long countdown, but still. The final reveal was our first look at the new suits in-game, and you can check them out for yourself below:
The update also adds a host of PS5 Pro enhancements, including Enhanced PSSR and Power Saver mode. As for the suits themselves, they’re free for all players: no pre-orders of Marvel Tokon necessary. Just boot up the game and claim your rewards.
If you’re especially enamoured with the Brand New Day suit, you can even claim it as a cosmetic in Marvel Rivals this week, with a selection of MCU skins arriving in the store, along with the new Age of Ultron Path to Doomsday event.
Of course, Insomniac are hard at work gearing up for their next big release, Marvel’s Wolverine, the next step in evolving their own corner of the Marvel universe. It’s been confirmed that Spider-Man won’t appear, but that’s not to say that more Spider-Man isn’t in the works—the face of Peter Parker teased a new game not too long ago.
