The face of Peter Parker has teased a new Insomniac Spider-Man project before swiftly deleting the post on Instagram, hinting that big news could be on the horizon.
A fresh entry in Insomniac’s Spider-Man series is widely expected, given the success of the franchise so far, and the cliffhangers remaining from the last title, though focus is currently on the Wolverine project set for release later this year.
However, it appears that work for the Spider-Man project has begun.
Peter Parker Model Teases New Insomniac Spider-Man Project
In an Instagram post, which has since been deleted, Spider-Man face model Ben Jordon posted a motion-capture photo accompanied by ‘IYKYK’ (If You Know You Know) and a spider emoji.
Understandably, this has raised excitement regarding a third main entry in Insomniac’s Spider-Man series, or another spin-off title like Miles Morales, and the deletion of the post only adds further fuel to the fire.
Insomniac’s widespread plans for their Spider-Man franchise were heavily leaked following a December 2023 ransomware attack, which revealed a host of plans and spin-off titles, though many could just be concept work, and some adjustments, naturally, have been made.
The studio has seemingly pivoted from some of those plans, particularly with the leaks revealing major spoilers for Marvel’s Wolverine, and the fresh Spider-Man project could be something different entirely.
There are plenty of ways Insomniac could go with future titles, with Spider-Man 2 leaving cliffhangers surrounding the likes of Venom, Carnage, and Cindy Moon, and there’s still a long list of characters who could appear.
For now, though, focus is set on the Wolverine title, due for launch on September 15, 2026, which will expand Insomniac’s Marvel universe even further.

First off this proves the whole Yuri motion capture excuse for the face change to be proven false. They should have kept the old face over Tom Holland but Marvel is trash and especially these games not what Marvel should be. The leak was Spider-Man 3 was for 2028 so my guess is it’s coming 2028-2030 and it’s X-Men after. Venom is probably coming in 2027 even though it makes no sense randomly bringing in Eddie Brock as not Venom but Anti-Venom with no relationship to Peter and not being Venom it makes no sense. Marvel and Insomniac just suck. Tokon is another just looks awful. Marvel just wants to ruin their characters them and Disney ever since Disney bought it.
