Embark Studios has just released Patch 1.2.4.0 for ARC Raiders, and it’s another relatively small update that focuses on numerous big fixes and glitches across the game. Again, to sweeten the deal, there are a few cosmetics added to the shop that could be worth checking out.
Of course, this is all in preparation for the major Riven Tides update that’s scheduled for the end of April, with a new map, large ARC threat, and Map Condition all ready to join the game. With that in mind, there won’t be a patch next week, as the team is prioritising finalising all of the new content.
ARC Raiders Fixes Numerous Bugs
The large focus of this update is on bug fixes, with the likes of audio and visuals being minorly adjusted. As well as that, a common glitch where consumables could activate automatically has been fixed, meaning you shouldn’t burn through your heals quicker than intended.
Additionally, those of you who contributed to the Weather Monitor System Project but couldn’t complete it in time should check your in-game inbox in the coming days, as it seems you may be compensated.
It was unclear originally, but it’s also been clarified that the High Gain Antenna Project will also expire when Riven Tides begins, so be sure to complete it asap if you want the rewards!
The full ARC Raiders 1.24.0 Patch Notes are listed below:
- Addressed several issues that could cause crashes.
- Fixed an issue where the Vanguard Set caused model stretching for other players.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players and ARC to sound quieter than intended when there’s no line of sight on Stella Montis.
- Fixed an issue causing blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
- Fixed an edge case where ziplines could be placed on carriables located on an edge of a ledge and the player was below the ledge.
- Fixed an issue where hold-to-use items (such as bandages) could activate automatically if a quick slot swap was interrupted by pressing the fire key.
- Players who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but couldn’t complete it in time, please check your inbox in-game in the next few days. Also, a reminder that the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update.
