Embark Studios revealed its early 2026 plans for ARC Raiders at the start of the year, and it detailed four major monthly updates. Well, it’s almost time to wrap it up, as the fourth and final one is almost here: Riven Tides.
Prior updates like Shrouded Sky and Flashpoint have been relatively successful, with new Major Map Conditions and ARC threats implemented to the game, but Riven Tides is about to scale things up to 11. Not only is a new map scheduled, but so is a new large ARC, making it the biggest update to ARC Raiders yet!

When Does Riven Tides Release In ARC Raiders?
The official release date for Riven Tides remains officially unknown, but based on ARC Raiders’ previous update schedule, it’s reasonable to assume it will arrive on April 28, 2026.
The previous three updates for ARC Raiders have all been released on the final Tuesday of the month. Unless Riven Tides is set to change the formula, it’s likely that it too will follow the same schedule.

Riven Tides is expected to launch at the usual update times for ARC Raiders, but in case you’re unfamiliar with those, Insider Gaming has them listed below in a variety of time zones for your convenience. However, it’s worth noting that these updates can be delayed, with Flashpoint releasing 30 minutes later than scheduled as an example.

No official details have been revealed by Embark Studios just yet, but the original roadmap gives an idea of what content to expect with Riven Tides.

Based on the list, it might seem like a smaller update, but in reality, it’s bound to be the biggest yet.
The new map is undoubtedly the highlight of the upcoming update, with fans having speculated for months about what it might be. Based on in-game hints and concept art, it looks like you’ll be heading to a coastal zone, with the roadmap icon seemingly corroborating the idea.

Of course, with a new map comes tons of new content. From new POIs to explore and Map Conditions altering the playing field, it’s going to offer a huge boost of new content to ARC Raiders, and it doesn’t stop there.
The other major piece of content is the new Large ARC threat. Rumours have been spreading that it could be the Emperor, as it seems like they’re roaming closer and closer to The Blue Gate, but nothing has been confirmed, and they seem too large for a simple Map Condition.
Another running theory is that it could be the Bishop, an ARC threat that’s been showcased in pre-release ARC Raiders footage. Could Riven Tides finally bring it into the official game? Only time will tell!
