ARC Raiders Forces Ninja to Stop Streaming: ‘Literally Unplayable’

Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has turned his back on streaming ARC Raiders, and potentially streaming anything for a while, because of the sheer volume of cheaters and stream snipers reportedly ruining his fun. In a recent clip captured by his viewers, Ninja was seen lamenting the state of ARC Raiders, which finds itself increasingly struggling with a disappointed player base.

After saying the cheaters and stream snipers were making ARC Raiders literally unplayable, Ninja said that if he does stream any time soon, it’ll likely be while playing League of Legends, as his interest in ARC Raiders has disappeared.

Ninja Quits ARC Raiders After Cheating Issues

Ninja has abandoned ARC Raiders just weeks after Marathon also defeated him, opting to pull away from streaming for a time to get his head straight.

At the end of his most recent stream, the creator, who was once the number-one streamer on the planet and famed for his Fortnite content, said:

I’m not getting on ARC, and I’m not playing anything else, other than maybe League.

As of right now, yeah. I’m not even joking.

I’m taking a break. ARC was sustaining me like crazy, it was a blast, and then just the cheating and the updates and everything. The stream sniping and cheating is obviously what kind of sent me over the edge.

It makes the game literally unplayable, so.

There’s no other game that I enjoy right now. I’m not going to force myself to play.

In March, Ninja famously gave up on Marathon, Bungie’s new extraction shooter, because he was dominated by AI enemies and forced to rage-quit the game. In a clip that surfaced on social media, Ninja became flustered after struggling to fight in-game enemies, cutting his stream off, and refusing to revisit the game again.

Over the festive period through December, ARC Raiders players experienced a rampant issue with cheaters, but Embark Studios came back to the office at the turn of the year and fixed some of the game’s biggest issues in that respect.

However, many argue that the efficacy of the work isn’t enough, and that the game is still struggling. That’s reflected in slowly decreasing player counts and a dip in viewership that has forced ARC Raiders down the charts.

  • It’s just a game, bro.

Maybe get a real job, get married, and have children instead. Gaming obviously isn’t it anymore.

    • Ninja has been married for almost a decade and they’re having their first child this summer.

    • He does have a job, streaming and I BET he makes a ton of money from it also.

My thing is if he wanted to play like everyone else, he could not stream or make a second account for just him to play on. These blow-up hissyfit is ridiculous I feel. Embark is working hard at resolving issues like cheating. But unfortunately cheaters don’t stop cheating and this will be an issue for a long time on and off. Don’t trash a game just cuz you’re famous and get trolled.
