Gears of War: E-Day is bursting onto the scene and is one of the first major XBOX releases following the start of Mythic Achievements being available, and there’s an extra reward to claim in the title.
The Coalition‘s latest entry in the beloved Gears of War franchise rolls the series back to where it started, as Gears of War: E-Day serves as a prequel to the existing series.
The Gears of War franchise has always been one for fans to grind in if they want full completion, which remains the case with E-Day, and the Mythic Achievement provides extra bragging rights.
E-Day Mythic Achievement Grants Legendary Character Skin
The list of Gears of War: E-Day Achievements includes the ‘Dead Serious’ crown, awarded to those dedicated enough to complete 100% of the Campaign on Insane, secure 25,000 kills in Versus, reach the maximum player level, and max out four classes.
Alongside the general bragging rights that come with completing such a monumental task, a pre-launch blog revealed there’s an additional reward coming for those who secure the Achievement.
The Coalition describes it as a “tried and true challenge,” revealing that those who earn the Dead Serious achievement will also earn a slew of exclusive rewards, including a Legendary Character skin that will debut at the start of Season 2.
Other cosmetics available as a reward for the Dead Serious achievement are Medal, Player Title, Banner, Emblem, and Icon, giving you even more to flaunt over other players.
While the reward will debut in Season 2, it will likely be a while until anyone claims the crown, with the requirement for 25,000 online kills alone certain to take an extensive period of time.
