Death Stranding 2’s Exoskeleton Releases Next Month

You can purchase and wear the Exoskeleton from Death Stranding 2 starting in December 2025; however, limited stock is available.

As players wait for Death Stranding to reach new mediums, with A24 set to tell an original story, and another animated film in the works as well, players can look forward to something tangible in the coming months. Kojima Productions has partnered with Dnsys to bring a co-branded DS2 Exoskeleton, and here’s all you need to know about it.

Death Stranding 2 Exoskeleton Works Similar to the Ones in the Game

The collaboration between Kojima Productions and Dnsys for the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach limited edition exoskeleton was revealed through an official post on X (formerly Twitter). It was co-designed by Yoji Shinkawa, the art director from Kojima Productions, and the DNSYS team. The Dnsys Z1 Exoskeleton Pro is scheduled to release on December 2, 2025.

Similar to the game, the Death Stranding 2 Dnsys Z1 Exoskeleton Pro will help provide users with a mobility boost when traveling through complex terrains and environments. Users will experience a leg enhancement that provides 50% extra power to their steps. They will also receive an endurance boost, which increases their hiking range by 15.5 miles and vertical climbing by 9.3 miles.

The exoskeleton will provide knee pressure relief, with users able to offload “up to 200%” of their body weight from the knees, and it also helps. Instantly feel up to 44 lbs lighter during vertical movements. The device will provide “AI gait control across rugged trails, stairs, and slopes,” and users can look forward to “4+ hours of continuous support, with quick-swap batteries.”

In other news, Hideo Kojima has written the concept for Death Stranding 3, but will not be making it. Additionally, players were using DS2’s photo mode to bypass UK Age Verification laws earlier this year. What are your thoughts on the real-life exoskeleton from Death Stranding 2?
