Death Stranding Animated Movie Brings on ‘Raised by Wolves’ Screenwriter

The Death Stranding animated movie is on its way, and the latest development reveals that the screenwriter of Raised By Wolves will write the upcoming film.

Along with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, fans of the franchise have several different projects and adaptations to look forward to, including a live-action movie and an animated feature film on the way. This is all a part of Kojima’s plan for making the line between movies and games disappear, as he has different phases planned for the Death Stranding IP.

As reported by Animation Magazine (via GamesRadar+), Kojima Productions has hired Aaron Guzikowski to write the “new adult animated feature film” set in the Death Stranding universe. The report also reveals that the upcoming animated movie will be an “original story set within the surreal world created by Kojima.”

Aaron Guzikowski has also shared his thoughts on Death Standing, calling it “creatively freeing”, which is “so beautifully dark and yet hopeful”. Guzikowski adds that he is honoured to work with Kojima and has always admired his work. Guzikowski is excited to “dwell within his creation, to birth new stories into this fertile, mind-bending universe”. Guzikowski has always found drawing and animation to be “near and dear” to his heart, and to “finally get to play in this space is a dream come true for him.”

In other news, Death Stranding 2’s script was changed midway through development. Also, check out the upcoming game’s file size.
