An insider has claimed that Assassin’s Creed Hexe will not release until the second half of 2027 at the earliest.
There is not much known about Assassin’s Creed Hexe at the moment, and the only official news we have received in recent times is that the team lost 50 developers and that the game director left Ubisoft. Now, as players wait for the devs to reveal the title officially, it seems the launch won’t happen for at least another year.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe Seemingly Won’t Release Until Second Half of 2027 at the Earliest
The claim about Assassin’s Creed Hexe’s release window comes from reliable insider NateTheHate. Recently on X (formerly Twitter), Nate was asked whether he knows when Ubisoft plans to reveal Assassin’s Creed Hexe. To which the insider responded stating “Game won’t launch until second half of 2027, at earliest. They don’t need to rush a reveal/announcement.” In an earlier Insider Gaming report, it was also stated that the game might be delayed to Holiday 2027.
From what we know about the game, it seems that Hexe will be more of a linear experience compared to its predecessors, with some elements of open-world exploration. Moreover, the game will feature a single female protagonist who has supernatural abilities. The game is also expected to include a ‘Fear System’ similar to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Jack the Ripper DLC. Also, a recent claim states that Ezio Auditore is returning in Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Players should note that these details haven’t been officially confirmed by the devs.
