A trio of Spider-Man: Brand New Day skins is set to land in Fortnite to celebrate the movie, featuring three characters who will play an integral role in the movie.
Tom Holland’s latest adventure as the webslinger, reportedly his last solo film as Peter Parker, arrives with a high level of anticipation given the looming launch of Avengers: Doomsday later this year, which is set to significantly change the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel’s close ties with Fortnite mean another collaboration was far from surprising, and the latest update from Epic Games will provide three new skins, alongside in-game additions.
New Spider-Man Skins Coming to Fortnite
In a reveal trailer promoting the latest collaboration, introduced by Holland himself, new skins for Spider-Man, The Hulk, and The Punisher were revealed, alongside an exclusive new look at the film.
While Spider-Man and The Hulk have been featured in Fortnite several times, both holding an array of existing skins, it marks the first time that The Punisher will be featured.
Alongside the new skins, Spider-Man’s Web Slingers will be unvaulted, providing new loot to find, will land when the collab kicks off on Friday, July 31.
The arrival will also mark a surprising situation where both Marvel and DC collabs will be present alongside each other, with the Hot Bat Summer update launching two weeks ago.
It remains to be seen how much of that content will remain post-update, but at least some, including the Batman Sprites, are expected to remain until the end of the current season.
