Activision Says Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Level Hiding Is A Bug

With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 out now, many quickly noticed that it appeared that the game was hiding the levels of players who weren’t in their party. It led to discussion if this was intentional to reduce the number of people leaving lobbies against higher-ranked players or if it was simply a bug.

Now, 24 hours later, Activision has addressed the concerns via a post on social media.

“We’re investigating an bug where Player Levels and Level Icons may not appear for matchmade players in the Lobby list,” the post reads along with a link to the games Trello board.

Going to the Trello board sees another simple message thanking players for their reports and that they are “actively investigating this issue.”

In addition to the level hiding issue in Black Ops 6, the Trello board has a number of issues across the game that are being worked on. Some of those problems include incorrect platform icons being displayed, loadout menus with placeholder icons, manglers walking into walls when spawning, and more.
